As you know, most of my artwork is primarily done with pencils. Which pencils do I use?

I look for vibrant colors that look good and work well with other brands. I also look for pencils that have a lightfastness and resistance to UV rays. That means the quality of the smooth permanent lead pencils will last for a long time. Like oil paintings. The brands that I mostly use are Caren d’Ache Luminance Colored Pencils, Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils, and Caren d’Ache Pablo Color Pencil. People have mistaken my work as a painting because of the quality of these pencils. I have been using them from day one. “Oh yeah”, no mess throughout the process. It is easy to draw very fine details. I am now working on larger pieces. It’s more time-consuming. I just take my time and enjoy the entire process. At the end, I always take pride of what I can accomplish. It’s a privilege to see people overjoyed and emotional connected to their drawings.
